The Paradise Valley Community College: Black Mountain campus is one of Focus Astronomy's regularly scheduled public venues. Focus has teamed up with PVCC to assist with their monthly astronomy events held during their Spring and Fall Semester.

The PVCC: Black Mountain campus provides a beautiful location for viewing the star. The paved observing pad is lit for safety and is also home to the colleges 14" telescope house in the nearby dome. During PVCC stargazing's visual telescopes are provided by Focus while the observatory provides live astrophotography imaging through the school's 14" telescope.
